Wow! We really are here!

It was an uneventful flight crammed into an airplane. As I walked past the first class and business class folks, I couldn't believe how cheap we were! It sure would have been nice to stretch out and sleep. Lol

We had a short wait in Paris. It was really cloudy so it wasn't the view I expected. I don't know why, but I thought we'd see the Eiffel tower...what a dork!

Flying over the Mediterranean was quite spectacular. The water is beautiful! I had forgotten how pretty it it!

Once we got our luggage, we caught a bus (i slept through the ride) to our Airbud apartment (we'd be skinny if we lived here...4 th floor!) We have a very nice apartment with plenty of room. Anne and Gordon found it and it's a big thumbs up!

Our first quest was for food...pizza. It was ok...had better...but we were starved.

We wandered around. Walked passed Vatican city and castel st Angelo. Lots of wonderful food smells and gellati!

It's not quite 7pm and we are struggling to stay awake 😀

I'll see if I can upload some pics and then I'll get ready for tomorrow.
