Last day of Tuscany

We woke up to a very foggy morning that quickly turned into another gorgeous day.  I spent quite a bit of time outside before our grand tour to stare at wild horses and birds flying into a field.
Once on the road, we zig and zagged through towns, forests and farms. We had two places that were "must sees:" San Gimignano and Siena. Both of these towns are big tourist towns with amazing histories from medieval times to the present. They still have structures...castles and towers that were built before Christ...amazing! Knowing that dinner was going to be fantastic at our B&B, we ate light. We stuck with gelati! So good!
Tomorrow, we will head south. We hope to stop by a pottery town...why? I don't know...it's not good for airplanes! But, you never know! Then on to Naples for some "old home week" time. We hope to go past the home where we lived and the places we hung out. Looking at Google maps, we can see that there are lots of changes. It should be fun!
